Lluc - Soller
We offer you this lovely cultural and historic walk in the north -east part of the island, in the heart of the “ Sierra Tramontana”
On our way to the mountains we will make a quick stop in the city of Inca, famous for its leatherwork. Here , we will visit one of the most famous leather factories, “ Munper”
After this we will make our way to the Sanctuary of Lluc , which dates back to the 13th century , where we will visit the mysterious statue of the Virgin Mary.
Then we will go on to a beautiful place called Sa Calobra , where you can enjoy a walk along the cliffs. We will walk through a natural spectacular stone tunnel, arriving at the mouth of the gorge of the “Torrent de Fareis”, with its characteristic pebbly beach.
After our walk we will take a small catamaran, sailing along the coastline to the Port of Soller. Here you will have some free time to enjoy the views and the peaceful nature of this beautiful place, where it feels as if time has stood still.
And from there we finish this special day with a train journey down through the mountains, following the original train track from 1912. We will make this magical trip in the old train of Soller, with its characteristic wooden carriages.
We will journey through spectacular tunnels and through countryside full of citrus groves and old olive trees.
